Colored PPF is paint protection film with pigment in it. One product changes your car’s color and protects it at the same time. It installs like clear film and removes the same way, without harming the factory paint underneath.
A vinyl wrap also changes color, but it offers little impact protection and typically lasts up to 5 years. Colored PPF costs more up front, protects like real film, and keeps the original paint untouched, which matters at resale.
Wrap or colored film?
Want a new look on a budget, short term: vinyl wrap.
Want a new look plus rock chip protection, long term: colored PPF.
Leasing or planning to sell soon: either removes cleanly. Film protects what is underneath while it is on.
We are the exclusive XPEL dealer in West Palm Beach and install colored film in a temperature-controlled clean room. Come look at samples in person. Colors read differently in sunlight than on a phone screen.
